Endgame · Spoilers

Cinder’s Cradle is a trip to plan, not a place to sprint through on your first visit. The northern region mixes a lower volcanic wasteland with floating islands, so prepare for uneven routes and give yourself a safe way back between objectives.

Readiness checklist

  • Advance the Flame to the new level the game requires before entering the region.
  • Bring equipment that has been upgraded for your current progression and enough recovery supplies for an extended route.
  • Carry both melee and ranged answers so terrain and enemy positioning do not leave you helpless.
  • Check the quest journal for the current main objective and identify your return point before crossing the gate.
  • In co-op, agree who leads navigation and when the group will retreat to restock.

The region’s vertical layout changes how you approach it. Work outward from a safe entry, then solve one nearby objective in the lower terrain before committing to elevated routes. Use gliding and grappling only when you can see a landing or recovery plan. The main quest leads through this newly opened area; follow its named objectives and return to town between milestones to review new crafting unlocks.

The 1.0 endgame raises the player level cap to 50 and fully upgraded gear to level 55. Those numbers describe the ceiling, not a requirement to stop every quest until you reach it. Let the region’s quests and upgrades guide your preparation, and change your loadout when an encounter exposes a specific weakness.

Use a short scouting loop to learn which slopes and platforms connect safely. If you find a route that works, mark its entry point before pushing farther into the upper terrain.
